The Road to Salute 2014...

This week is a bit of a build-up to WWPD4Vets, ( 24 hours of Worldwide gaming experience) so instead of a normal article I wanted to let you all know that this coming weekend I will be off to Salute 2014 at the Excel Centre in London.

There I will be meeting up with Jasper Oorthuys from Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy Magazine. I will also be able to do the rounds and get to see a couple of great new products from the boys at Gripping Beast.

Yes, this Salute sees not one but two new game experiences.

Firstly, is the "Crescent and Cross" SAGA supplement. This has been waited for a long time by Sagamites. I will have my trusty camera there and as long as I have Wi-fi I will be tweeting all about the show as well! There are some new plastic Arab Spearmen models to go along with this game as well as a range of metal models and two new sets of Saga dice.

Also 'the Beast' will have their new Gladiator game "Jugula". This looks pretty good so far. Some fantastic miniatures on offer....

So how can you help on the day and also see what is going on? In the USA funds are being raised for the Wounded Warrior Project, in New Zealand it is for the RSA.
